Browning BL-22

had a 9422 here and traded it off as was in 22 mag. Me the win is the rem 24 or the grandads savage 23a match gun.

The only Browning that I own is a BT99. I do not own Browning .22. This thread caused me to take quick look at the BL22......such a pretty rifle. Also took a look at the SA22......IMHO, that may be the prettiest .22 available.

I have two bl-22 guns. One full size and a mico midas. They both have the worst 22 trigger I have ever used. I think a stock 10-22 trigger is lighter. However, the build quality and accuracy are great. I also have a henry and a winchester 94/22 magnum, they both have better triggers. I really like how the finish is on the browning, reminds me of the old Remington “bowling pin” finish used to be.

This chat reminded me that my brother’s Henry lever action 22 has jammed. He was griping about it, and asking if I could fix it. Maybe, if he’ll bring it to me.
