Broken Wrist - not to beat a dead horse

You've got another six months to take it easy on that wrist.

Gunbroker is nothing to be afraid of, you pay the purchase price and it's shipped to your FFL for the transfer to you, not a problem. Do read the listings carefully and ask for better photos if you want them.

At the risk of introducing a bit of heresy to the discussion, have you, or would you, consider a good concealable twenty-two? I don't know if they are readily available, but one of my favorite pistols of all time is the Beretta 70S in both .22LR and .380. I liked my .22LR so much I had it hard chromed.

The 70S .22LR was popular with both the mob and Israeli secret service because of its reliability and its ability to really crank out the shots. Like its big brother, the 92, it has no ejection port for the case to trip on. It fires nine shots as quickly and as reliably as a Ruger Mark II, yet not nearly the size.

The Beretta 70S sports a 4.5-inch barrel, adjustable sights
and a cock-and-lock safety. It's easy to carry once you remove
the finger grip rest stipulated by the Gun Control Act of 1968.

It's easy enough for me to switch to my left (non-dominant) hand. In fact, I practice shooting with it frequently.

However, if I found myself with a broken right wrist that makes it difficult for me to rack a slide; I'd pick up a S&W Chiefs Special or a decent copy of one and carry that until my wrist is healed. IMHO, revolvers are best when one of your hands is basically out of commission.

"...still can't have more than 10# of pressure..." Suggests the break is really bad or more recent than 4 months ago. Takes 3 months for a quad by-pass(3 years since, now) to go away. Far less for the 10 pound weight lifting restriction. You get pins etc. too?
Anyway, it's not the pistol. If your wrist is that bad, you won't be shooting right handed period.
"...one-handed shooter to clear a malfunction..." Push the slide back by putting the front on a table or the like.

One handed rack on Sig P238 . . .

The rear sights of a Sig P238 are shaped in a way that makes the one handed rack, by using the edge of a holster or even a pants pocket, relatively easy.
Just a thought . . .
