I have one and enjoy it.I have one 5 rd and 2 10 rd mags. Not looking to sell.
For those interested, the forend is a hollowed out shell, and the bolt mass to handle the 22 magnum is up there riding on a rod.The 401 and 351 Win selfloaders had a similar setup.
When I first bought mine,I had some trouble. There is a threaded bushing/nut that screws into the forward part of the bolt, and rides around the guide rod.
That works itself loose in firing.I forget exactly, but when that occurs,it creates an excessive headspace situation as the bolt does not fully go forward.I made a driver to tighten it,and added a little loctite blue.No more problem.
Burris used to make a compact 6x 1" tube scope.A local smith with a contact at Burris asked to have one made with a long range duplex for me.That is the scope on it.I have whacked some prairie dogs pretty far with that setup.
These rifles are made in a way that is from times past.Nice walnut, excellent real checkering.
Now you have me curious, what is the price range on them?
