Brazilian Imbel .380 1911 clone

^^Exactly, because no one else has one. For a lot of us gun enthusiasts here in the states, we don't always want the best of the best all the time. We like unique and different, and sometimes we just want things just because we can.

A double stack full size 1911 in .380 is quite unique and would be fun. But I'll say, my unique "foreign gun I'll never see" lust is for the Russian MP-443 and MP-412. Two guns that wouldn't really be better than ones we can obtain here, but they're different and no one else would have one

Funny thing is I would trade my Imbel for a Beretta or a SIG Sauer in a heartbeat! I am trying to import both... hope it works.

You also said you have a 1911. The Kimber Micro .380 series pistols are not 1911s. They are clones of the Colt Mustang, which in turn is a clone of an earlier Spanish pistol.
