Boulder, Colorado gun ban - city council to decide

Jim,

Thanks for the on-scene report. My account was (obviously)hearsay & (apparently)inaccuartely portrayed. Again, thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for what you did, Jim. I lived there at the time & never caught wind of it at all.
We hope to do the same thing (on steroids, if possible) in Boulder (whenever they decide they're gonna get of the pot (no pun intended)

BAB,

SRO = standing room only (as in 75+ "extras" :)

Dr. Rob: I agree with you on the good/bad about Boulder, except for the bicycle traffic. It's the cycling mecca for us ex-racers. We don't want to be a pain, but we all must share the road. :) :)

There will be an administrative hearing on these proposals this Wednesday, June 21 at 6 p.m. The chief of police and other officials are slated to be there. Public input on the proposals is sought. We need people there! I don't know exact details as to where yet, but I'll get those posted tonight (unless someone beats me to it).

In the meantime, check out the following links to get a feel for the proposals and an analysis:

In defense of Boulder-- Boulder COUNTY is rather conservative. If you're moving to the area, give some of the satelite town, like Gunbarrel, a try.

Full-blown Tyranny Response Team demo planned for the "event." 6/21 Canyon & Broadway, Boulder, CO.

We'll be inside (get there about 4:30 PM to sign up (at 5PM) to speak your piece = 3 minutes) and outside as well.

Show starts at 6PM.

Film at 11.
