Bought a P220 this morning

I'm countering her tendency to claim my stuff (I used to have a Spyderco Native, too--now I carry a low-end Benchmade) by chattering about the new gun at all hours. She's pretty sick of hearing about it by now.
;)

Don,
Congrats on the new 220. I have an older one that I got used about a year and a half ago. In the time that I've had it, it's digested about 3000 rounds of everything from 230 gr hardball to 185gr Gold Dots and the 200gr lead and jacketed SWC's. Think I've had one failure to feed, and that was due to my reloading, not the pistol. Fine weapon. My wife and I own Sigs, Rugers, Glocks, a S&W (no flaming, it's an old one :) ), and my Sig 220 goes everywhere with me that it's legal.
You will like this pistol.
Good shootin,
Bill

Don:

Enjoy your new pistol. Sig Sauers, from what I've heard, are good pieces.

As for The Sainted Sarah of Brady, while she might well be a pain in the ass, it was our "elected things" in The Congress that enacted the idiotic legislation you speak of. Last time I looked, The NRA did not come off covered with glory either.

Nothing to do with mechanisms, but not "out of the picture".

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten them.
I wonder what would happen, hypothetically of course, to someone who put a pie in Sarah Brady's face?

What if it were a habanero pie?

4 days?!! I can do that standing on my head! 7 days down, 7 more to go...Damn Hawaiian 14 day waiting period!

MPower: You're right. You "win." My heart goes out to ya. Then again, come December, I win the crybaby game by default, because I'm in Illinois and you're in Hawaii, fer Pete's sake....

We're not that far apart. I'm in Virden, which is about half an hour South of Springfield on Rt. 4. By Mapquest it looks like about 2 hours. I don't go that direction very often, though, we spend most of our time going to Springfield and my wife has family close to Chicago.
