Bought a LNIB Beretta 92fs Inox

Took mine to the range today and am very pleased with how it shot.
Put several mags full of FMJ and different hollow point ammo from +p to standard pressure with Mecgar 20 and 18 round mags even a old 15 round mag from early 90s and it was perfect. Accuracy was better than any Glock I have owned even though I was function testing it and not precision aiming it at target at 10 or so yards.
So I bought some v crown 147 grains ammo and put my 20 round mag in and loaded the 18 round mags and put it in my desk for home defense gun.
If the gun wasn't so heavy and bulky I would carry it over the glock 26 I have.

If I had to choose one pistol, and walk away from the rest,
my 92FS INOX would be it.

I keep coming back to this gun. It's reliable, accurate, and
very good looking. It simply never rides the safe, for long,
no matter what else I get.

I also have a 92fs inox and love mine as well

It seems that the 92 is a love it or hate it gun.

It seems a shame Beretta does not make a match model with a front bushing.

You all know, the front of the barrel freely jiggles up/down/right/left. Loose is good on a combat pistol. I think, this well proven a platform 'might' have potential as a match grade pistol. The 1911, requires fairly complex hand fitting and the Beretta lockup might simplify the required fitting to get the level of accuracy.

Beretta did have threaded barrels on some of the models.. if memory serves the elite series for example.
a bushing can be easily added to those.

even though the standard 92 does wiggle a bit (the barrel slides on it's own rail) It's a pretty accurate gun none the less.

problem is beretta has mostly ignored the wants of the civilian market since they had that fat uncle sam contract.

but now that it's over maybe they'll pay attention to us now.
all the cool 92's was limited runs or discontinued.
