Buckshot is good out of a short barreled gun in dense woods where any shot you get is going to be quick. I've gone in when they weren't moving and jumped them up off their beds.

Agreed, & I've been in similar situations.

I'll eventually get myself a nice side by side for Turkey & upland work where #2 & #8 & or some BB's will be sufficient "that is if I can find some lead BB's" for those times where I just want something different for a change out there..
