Not sure what is meant by "no teeth", I think we gun owners and shooters
showed and used our teeth in the 1994 Congressional elections, as I heard one commentator say on NPR "Far from being down and out, the NRA came back with both barrels blazing and shot down many of its opponents." On a smaller and somewhat less effective scale, the same thing happened in New
Jersey in 1991 and 1993-in the legislative elections, the Republicans won veto-proof majorities in bothe houses, thought they were unable to use them effectively, in 1993 the Democratic governor-Florio-who pushed through the
state's AWB became the first sitting governor to be defeated for re-election.
I recall reading that the voters of Nebraska added the RKBA to their state constition a few years ago, I think the voters of Lousiana did something similar. After the 1994 elections NPR sent a correspondent out into the Heartland to gain some sense of what the people there thought and felt, he noted how in so much (if not most) of the U.S.A. attacking the NRA and the
RKBA is like attacking the Catholic or the Baptist Church or the PTA or the
American Legion-you do it at your peril.
