A DIP trigger and guard with a McCarbo spring kit will give you a great trigger with some sweat equity and $100. BSA scopes are absolute garbage, bad glass and adjustments that will go south on you. Nikon makes good glass and has several rimfire scopes.
Just a thought: Have you considered peeps instead of a scope. Peeps give you many of the optical benefits of a scope (without the magnification of course) with less hassle, complexity, and cost. I have Tech Sights on a Marlin 795 and love them.
