Best looking handgun?

Top of the heap, by a wide margin, is the Smith & Wesson Model 19.

Beware the man with the S&W .357 Mag.
Chances are he knows how to use it.

Walther P99 (polymer) and HK USP.

Desert Eagle- Black, Bright Stainless, Titanium Gold.

Springfield FBI model- Black Ti (Birdsong).

Freedom Arms Revolvers.

Also, Glocks are efficient looking- not attractive by any means.

By far, I would have to say the Ahrends Custom built Browning High-Power featured in the Sept/Oct 1993 issue of American Handgunner. With the usual excellent photography work of Ichiro Nagata, this is the sexiest looking handgun I've ever seen. Oh, the lines of this BHP, complimented by its Tigold two tone finish, Spegel grips, fabulous checkering, custom ambi-safety, Barsto barrel, and the unusual (on a BHP) custom, tritium Heinie fixed sights (pre-straight eights version.) This was Kim Ahrend's Tactical Conversion with some extras ordered for this particular customer. There were numerous other things done to this particular custom Browning. If you have access to back issues of Am. Handgunner, check it out - it's a beauty. EricO

SIG Sauer P228 followed by the P229. I love the square lines, curved grip, and smooth outline of the trigger guard.

So many pistols, so little money.

Glock 19- ugly as hell, but it goes BANG when I need it to, THAT"S BEAUTIFUL.

Ruger KP95DC- see above.

Ruger MK-II- A truly gorgous handgun in the Luger tradition.

P08- What can I say, it's the original "looker". :) :)

IMHO, the Stainless Beretta 92 is the best looking auto, and the Stainless Colt Python is the best looking revolver.....

Best looking handgun I own is a Browning High Power, 9mm, high polish blue, with Rosewood stocks. Best looking handgun I don't own is a Colt Python, blue.

Stainless Walther PPK with little finger rest and trim black wraparound grips. It just doesn't get any better looking than that.

Take the long way home...

1st...S+W 3rd variation I frame 4" with stock grips.

2nd...S+W 19-3 (short lug)6" with all the Ts. and stock grips.

3rd...S+W mod 36 J, 3" with stock grips.

Happy blends of art and function.

I really like the looks of my Ruger Govt. Comptetition .22 - it is the stainless model with the nice wood grips. Also like the looks of the 6" barrel S&W revolvers prior to the full underlug. The Model 17 (K-22) is a nice piece. The Colts are really nice looking too with a deep blue finish (Pythons etc..) In auto pistols, I would have to go with the Browning Hi-Power. I like my Mak too, but the finish usually isn't that great on them - the shape is nice though.

I have some simple tastes. I like square and compact firearms that are well proportioned... evenly balanced.
