Best Leather IWB holster.

I have a VMII for a 3" 1911 that is gathering dust. Should sell it but it was a b-day present from the wife, so that may be a problem. :)

When I cary a 1911, I use the Lou Alessi Watch Six...similar to the Watch Six now sold by Milt Sparks, but with nylon clips vice belt loops.

My UBG holster for my Kahr P45 gets more use than any holster I own. About time to buy another for a 1911. :)

I have been using the Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 IWB holster for my Dan Wesson CBOB for a bit less than a year now. I find it to be the best holster I have owned for concealed carry. That part which extends above (down in the pic) the opening is great to keep the thumb safety from digging into my skin and to keep sweat from getting on the firearm.

My favorite leather holsters include:

Gary Brommeland Max Con V. These fantastic holsters are unfortunately only available for 1911s, but they are worth every penny (over $100).

For revolvers, I have had excellent success with FIST #20s and Lobo Gunleather IWBs.

I just got a Max Con V for my G23 about 6 months ago and his website still has a list of pistols that he makes them for and it's a long list.
