best holster bar none

Personally, I've had great success with Galco holsters and have been very happy with but their fit and reliability. Once I found their Fletch model, I haven't looked any place else.

I like the stuff Monica Kuehn makes..last I saw, she goes by the name "Shorts" here...she has one called the "CSO" (Compact Snap On) that I have for my Kimber 1911, and which I'll be ordering on May 24th for my M&P's. She does outstanding work, the CSO is comfortable and very concealable. Her web site is

Like a couple of the others on this thread, I'm partial to my own stuff. Granted - I'm not cheap, but I do have repeat customers if that tells you anything!

For CCW carry, it's hard to beat the Milt Sparks summer special, for duty use, you want the holster that has the best retention that you can still get a really fast draw from. Try seveal different one's till you find what works the best for you.
For CCW carry, it also depends on the clothing you wear and the time of the year. When you have a coat on, just about any holster can be hidden, when it's T shirt weather, you might have to make another choice.
Go to your local gun shop and try different holsters until you find the one that fits your body the best. Being thin vs. heavy weight makes a difference.

Lots of good holsters out there. I gravitated to Lou Alessi's products, the CQC/S and the Talon Plus. I imagine my next holster will be the same; I think Lou trained his help well, from what I hear.

I got two that i really enjoy....

crossbreed supertuck- this one is butt ugly but very very comfortable, can wear all day you literally forget its there.

dm bullard: dual carry- this one can be wore IWB or OWB. Took like 9 weeks to get but it is truly a beautiful piece of leather.
