Best gen Glock 21 for 10mm conversion?

I have I think a gen1 glock 20mm (preban even). I bought an aluminum guide and replacement spring because the stock spring was clearly too weak for 10mm loads (I recall having more than a few boxes of american eagle), I could feel the slide slam into the back of the pistol. Works fine with .40 ammo of course. I assume the newer 10mm glocks are sprung better out of the box? Tensioning that aftermarket spring more than sucks every time I clean it.

Dang, and I thought a 10mm was pretty stout! A friggin 12 gauge is only 18.5mm, a 10 gauge is 19.7mm, I bet that 20mm gets your attention when you pull the trigger!

I'm not surprised they only made 1 generation of those, probably banned them immediately! :)

^^^^^^^
Glock only made 17's in the Gen 1 configuration...

I own a Gen 2.5 29 at this time .. The slide has been sent to CCR refinishing... To be refinished in their House Black ....
I have a 41 and ... If I have a enough rubles after my bills are paid .. I'm ordering a 10 mm coversion barrel for it and a stouter spring , maybe 24#

Totally unsustainable...lol.

My G40...Deltapoint Pro optic, 7" KKM barrel, and a Diamond D holster....$1,569 all totaled, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
