I am working on a web page that shares ideas for teaching newbies but -- as this experience shows - I am far from being an authority on this. I have achieved the main goal of getting mom interested enough to go shooting with me again. I think I will talk to dad about sharing the cost of a .32H&R or .22 alloy revolver and either lend her my .30 carbine or get a Mossberg .410 HS for future use. I am definitely not qualified to teach long arms so folks doing training in Mpls/St.Paul will be hearing from me.
