Now would it make a difference to all of us SMLE lovers if the comparison was between the SMLE and the Kar 98 vis a vis the Gew 98?

If it were between the SMLE and the Kar98? I'd be a toss up for me..

But the more true comparision would be the Enfield No.4 and the Kar98. Which gets us into WWII rifles, and I think there is already a thread for that:p

Think I'd still go with the SMLE. Better safety position and higher cap magazine
