Again, I agree with lowering the FFL purchase age to 18. My pet peeve, however, as far as ridiculous, probably unconstitutional laws are concerned, is the law that says that I can't go 30 mi. to a gunshop across the state line and buy a handgun. That's truly absurd. Can you think of any other item that's legal to buy in both states, but which can't be bought across the state line? I consider that to be a horrible invasion of personal freedom and would suspect that the law wouldn't stand scrutiny. Thing is, nobody's going to waste the time and money to pursue the matter, as rotten as it is.
