My 10/22 with the factory barrel would feed anything. Several years later I installed a bull barrel, and it became a little fussy when it reached around 300 rounds - time to clean. If I was out varmint hunting, I would run a Bore Snake starting from the chamber end to the muzzle a few times to get me through the day. The chamber on my bull barrel is tighter.
CCI Blazer is good. The Stingers also fed well, but I am not a fan of it for hunting or accuracy. For me, the price of the Mini-Mags is way out of line. If I am going to pay that much, I may as well shoot a reloaded centerfire pistol cartridge.
Winchester has a few offerings in .22LR. If you ever use it for hunting take a look at the Winchester XPert High Velocity Hollow Point. The Winchester XPert HV HP has worked well for me on varmints, rabbits and racoons. The XPert actually has a decent hollow point vs. the joke of a dimple or pin hole of a HP found on some manufactures .22LR bullets.
I have also had good luck with Federal value packs, but others have reported problems.
I like Remington the least. Of the Remington, the Thunderbolts work best for me.
You will have to see what your 10/22 likes best. I would clean the barrel and action really good before I shoot it. Invest in a quality brass cleaning rod, soft metal cleaning brush and be careful with the muzzle crown when cleaning. Also be careful with the firing pin area so the tip of the cleaning brush does not cause any damage. I suggest removing the action before cleaning the barrel. The barrel can also be removed for cleaning, but doing this will affect the POI when it is reinstalled. I am not a fan of removing the barrel unless it is necessary.
