F FireForged New member Nov 21, 2001 #22 As I always say: The BEST BUY in a postban AK is the Polytech AKS for $349-399. CDNN still has a load of them. 1. Very thick 'stamped' receiver. 2. perfect blue finish 3. Sweet original trigger parts 4. Nice barrel 5. Everything fits nicely The only thing going against it is the USA Choate Stock. Its a nice quality piece, I just dont like thumbhole type stocks too much. I have put around 4K rounds through mine and love it.
