Best 45 - HP, Glock, Sig, Beretta, Colt?

I personally like the simplicity of the Glock 30.

Light, compact, durable, and accurate. #3.5 lb connector turns it into a sweet litte shooter.

Holds 10 rounds of .45 too! I can't do that with my Kimber Ultra carry.

Then there is the absence of the safety or decocker. This goes a loooong way with me.

YMMV

My ranking (of the ones you listed):

1) Colt 1911A1 (preferably a clone Springfield, Kimber, etc.)
2) HK USP
3) Sig 220
4) Beretta 8045
5) A good revolver in .45ACP
6) That gun with the funny trigger that's made of remolded tupperware with the name that sounds like somebody choking on a chicken bone.

Just my two cents.

Take the long way home...

An H&K P9S Target will meet all of your criteria. The SA will probably be about the best that you can find and the accuracy is great.

A Springfield or a Kimber. I prefer the Springfield because of the lower price, which I then plan on rolling back into the gun anyway.

Anyone have any pros or cons on the Kimber polymer in 45 acp? How is the Ruger polymer 45 to shoot vs. other polymers. Reason I'm on polymer is weight, durability, ammo capacity. Parts avaiabliy on Kimber, Ruger, HK-USP, & Soringfield - good or bad?
