Best 40 S&W CC

Do you have a local range around with a rental counter?

Pick out a few, shoot them, see what you like the best.

My personal opinion, I like the Shield in 40.

I have a few 40 S&W pistols:

The G27, 23 and 22.

I have a Keltec Sub 2000 (Sub 2K), G23 model. It is complementary to my pistols.

The 23 is the best compromise but the 27 is very compact. The Glock line does allow for flexibility.

Since you are set on the .40 S&W, I would say go with the Glock 27 as well. I don't know if Glock is going to release a 43 sized gun chambered in .40 S&W, but I doubt it seeing as the .40 S&W seems to be falling out of favor as of late.

Personally, I think it is a great round. It is hard to argue that a heavier and larger round, traveling almost as fast wouldn't do more damage. That's why the .45 acp is still around.

My first suggestion would be a CZ but you'd have to fond one used as CZ doesn't make a .40 anymore.

Being the case another vote for the Shield. I have a mod 2 on .45 and really like that gun.
