Beretta Stampede or Ruger Vaquero

I have a Colt Single Action Army chamber in .45 Colt:

and a Ruger Vaquero (old style) chambered in .45 Colt:

I realize that the Colt has a lot of ROMANCE attached to it due to western lore, however the Ruger is a much better overall shooter IMO.
 
utaherrn, I wrote down your request, took my dog out for a walk, came back, and forgot where I put the note!!! :confused:
dogngun I'm hoping I can send my slightly used Vaquero to Ruger to have a .45acp cylinder fitted. The one thing I didn't do is check out the availability, and price on .45 Colt ammo. :eek: Just once I'd like to put on a cowboy rig, and walk around the neighborhood in the open...I'm afraid, in the end, that would give me more pain than enjoyment. Bring back the old days!!!!
CatBird Beautiful guns!!! There is another thread close by on a used Colt Trooper, I'd like to stumble onto one for $250.00... :)
