been thinking about a 22 mag revolver, need options

the why. well just because i guess. thought it would be fun. saw the S&W 351PD, thought it was really pretty. that about sums up the why. also, maybe if some of this "new" short barreled ammo lives up to the factory's claims, then maybe it wouldn't be such a bad little carry around gun.

"a snubbie 22 magnum"

I love fireballs and the big flash. I've had a 5.5" Single-Six Convertible for 40 years and I like shooting .22 WMR, but the fireball is huge and bright. It's noisy, too.

Very nice videos, informative and well done. Thanks for sharing. I'm also a fan of the 22 WMR. I have a S&W 351PD and like it very much. Very light, quite accurate for its intended purpose, and easy to carry and shoot. The only drawback is that one time I forgot to put my hearing protection on and let off one round. Wow that thing is loud. Won't do that again! I prefer the Gold Dots overall. Also have a Ruger Single Six Conv. 4 5/8 bbl. and it also shoots very well using the 22 mag. cyl. Oh and a Henry H001M too, great little shooter.

My grail gun is either a S&W 651 or 51. Very hard to find in these parts.

Thanks for posting the informative video. Nice to know even the lowly snub nosed revolvers are exceeding 1000 fps. Sort of puts to rest the old arguement that the caliber loses too much velocity to be effective in a snub. I'd be the first to agree, the small caliber isn't ideal for personal defense, but it isn't nearly as bad as some people claim.
