I went to a company Christmas party with a girl friend many years ago. During dinner the boss was complaining about a beaver making too much noise and messing up a deer hunt so the boss shot him. At this point my girlfriend pipes up and asks

"Oh, do you eat beaver?"

I think beaver is best eaten raw, depending on the season.
