BBQ gun

To me, it's just a nice looking, somewhat dressed up, gun I might choose to wear to a nice, social function -- especially if open carrying. There's no reason a BBQ gun can't also be practical. I'd probably use this one as a BBQ gun, and it's both accurate and completely reliable.

My barbeque gun is a working gun, a Kimber 1911.

Only nowadays, it's wearing bone grips

It's still the gun I wear when I want to make a friendly impression.

the sig is hers but i have adopted it until i get mine finished
sig p238 with a gold barrel.
i have been working on my 1911, this was my first try with puting on a pater so i kept the gold light just incase i had to take it off. it wasnt bad for a shot in the dark, i have all the bugs worked out and am planing take it off and do it again. i plan to renickel the frame and slide with a smooth flat satin finish then polish out the gold tiger stripes to really make them pop out all the gold work is done with 10 karet [/IMG]

You would think that with all of the guns I own,,,

That I would have at least one true BBQ gun.

But I don't.

The closest I have are a few pretty stainless revolvers,,,
But no engraving or fancy grips on any of them,,,
I do however sport some fine leather.

The pistol is plain jane,,,
But her holster is BBQ quality.

OH! Theres where my hub cap went, now to go get it back.

From my understanding BBQ" beautiful gun(dress it up)

BBG Gun, what a hoot

I was a surveyor for years. Sounds like the guy I heard about who had a "dress bob".

Surveyor carry a plug bob for setting points. Usually they get banged and beat up as they are used to pound nails and such.

This guy seemed to think he had to impress people with being a surveyor, and had a nice shiny brass one. Guess he should have had gold plated!

Mine is....

also a BHP, alas with no engraving, but I DID buy some carved-bone grips for it - they are too thick for daily use but go one for such occasions.

Thanks for the education. I can always count on some of you guys to give me an answer to almost anything. I have no BBQ gun. The BBQs I go to are best if firearms are kept out of sight. Thanks.
