sorry been out of town I'm in saratoga. i go to the outdoor ranges in Cupertino and up in the hills off of highway 9 and skyline. Also, my friend has so land near mt. hamilton he likes to go shoot at her has invited me a couple times but I have been busy easch time

New fella

Okay, I've been lurking long enough, time to participate a bit. I've shot at Chabot a few times. Really nice place. I really like the way the range is down lower then the rest of the rec area. It seems to help a lot with the noise.

We really do need a 300 yard in the Bay that we don't have to drive an hour to get to. Even the places that have 200 yard ranges have strange hours and times that they're open. I joined a sportmens club in Concord specifically so I could use the 200 yard range, and they changed the days that it was open to one day a month.

Not to cross post too shamelessly, but I wanted to alert fellow Bay Area TFL community members that there is a Bay Area shoot planned for Monday June 3rd, 2002 at Reed's Indoor Range in Santa Clara.

Thread for Bay Area Shoot

We are also planning on meeting every first monday, possibly at other locations for those of you further from the South Bay locale:
Hope to meet some of you!

Psyco, here's where I know of in the South Bay to go shooting..

- I shoot at Target Masters and the Santa Clara county
sports range on a regular basis - but have not been to
the new Reeds indoor range since it used to be
"National Shooting Club"..

Here's the Ranges that I go to:
---------------------------------------------

Check out the Santa Clara County Outdoor Range
(South San Jose, CA)

Check out "Target Masters West":

I am a discount card holder at San Leandro Rifle & Pistol Range and usually shoot there every Saturday for a mere $4.00. The range is owned by the San Leandro Optimist Club. Location is easy, just exit on Davis St. on 880 and take it heading west all the way down, its right next to the local dump.

There are indoor lanes that go up to 50ft. I shoot primarily outdoor on the 12, 25, 50yd pistol range or on the 100yd rifle range (can only shoot hp or sp bullets on the 100yd rifle range though, no fmj allowed).
