Barrel installation #101.......

Got it..........

Finally have received my replacement GP-100. Ruger received the clunker on 8/19, shipped my replacement on 9/19. I was able to pick it up today. Both myself and dealer took out the magnifying glass and fine tooth comb and gave GP the once over..looks ok...other than being bone dry, as in void of any lube.....a trip to range is now in order.

Alls well that ends well....we hope....:D

The gal at Ruger spoke English? If you don't mind speaking with the pahhts depahhtment you'll understand them and they you just fine. Well, just don't call them and speak espanol like some Texans, Arizonians or New Mexicans. Ruger folks also don't parlez Francais and when their French-Canadian customers call, nobody could speak with them either. I offered to teach them some Spanish but "Your mother is a big pig" makes for very poor customer service. To their credit, they declined my offer.

Glad everything worked out in your favahh 38Mike.
