DA trigger on my USP Compact is just fine. Could be a bit lighter, but it's even, smooth, and controllable.
I've used it twice so far in IDPA. Didn't even think about the DA trigger -- just held the front site on target and squeezed. Shots went where the sites were. That's all I want out of a pistol. Heck, some can't even manage that (at least not in my hands).
"Overengineered" is a good adjective for them.
