Backup gun

P32, P3AT, or NAA Mini 22LR as backup. A backup gun is whatever you want it to be. It doesn't have to be smaller than your primary. Two is one....etc...etc...

My bug is a G-23 because my EDC is an LCP. The only thing that determines a BUG is which gun is drawn first.

The 2nd gun is a sound concept. Mine works the same way, the Glock 31C is normally in a Galco shoulder Rig and the Shield AIWB. Whichever is the right tool for the job at the time.

My right hand is much more coordinated than my left. My left hand does OK with larger guns, not so great with small guns. I have a condition that affects my coordination so it isn't just a matter of practice (though practice can help a bit). So, I have thought about going that way when I carry a backup on my left side (IWB weak side or in a Maxpedition or similar bag). Carry the smaller gun on the right and the larger gun on the left. Interesting that others had the same idea.
