Baby Desert Eagle Thoughts?

To the OP... Wanting a full size DE (whatever the caliber) is entirely different than wanting a normal, proven carry gun. As someone else said, the full size is more of a novelty gun. The BDE is a proven combat weapon and carry weapon. I have a polymer compact one in 9mm. I've had it about 9 years now, and have probably put nearly 10k rounds through it with no issues (other than user error when I didn't install the firing pin block spring during reassembly... Had to buy a new firing pin after firing a few hundred rounds without it).

Its not my favorite pistol, but its close. The DA trigger pull is long, gritty, and hard (my biggest complaint). The SA pull is to die for though. That SA trigger pull is the best out of all my pistols, including my 1911s, issued Sig p227, or my old issued p220. You could do worse. Mine is now my 11 y/o daughter's range gun, and she shoots it quite well.

About the ONLY THING that any of the CZ-pattern guns (and the Jericho is one of them) have in common with the Modèle 1935A, is a slide riding inside the frame.

No, that's not the case.

The 1935A does not have the slide inside the frame. The Swiss changed that when they introduced the P210. The 1935A is slide over frame.

In which case, I stand corrected -- and the 1935A may have even LESS in common with the CZ than I thought. CZ is, then, indebted to Swiss Arms AG (or SIG Arms AG, or SIG Sauer, or one of those related companies -- I can't keep them straight.)
