This is my first post so if this is in the wrong spot I am sorry.
I needed everyone's help on this poll. It is from my local paper and currently we a losing!

Should Congress renew the federal ban on assault weapons?

52% Yes Military-style firearms should be banned.
48% No People have the right to own any firearm they want.
 
My vote musta tipped this in our favor. Its now:

49% Renew the ban
51% No ban, let people own what they want.

Still too close for comfort! Let's keep the pressure on!
 
We should all go to vote on it. We should let the media know what the people really want. Some media only cares about making big story about guns, even though the reporters know nothing about firearms, they scream at everything gun related to make money. They are the allies of the AWB! We cannot be silent, we should make sure the people's true voice heard by the public. :mad:

The they will stop such voting because they find they cannot get anything profitable from it. :D
 
Polls be damned. In the end this is a Constitutional issue. We should fight it on that ground, not count on the addled masses, drunk with "Fear Factor," to come to grips with the reality of the issue.
