Medic,

Mel ain't dead yet? No wonder it was so hard to get him buried!! :D :D

Obviously I blew it. I haven't seen or heard from Mel Tillis for so long I thought he was a gonner. Next time, I should check.

Thanks for the good news, Medic! :)

Irlene Mandrell is some sort of celebrity spokesperson for the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation. Is that what you're thinking of?

Pave Pilot & Sensop,
I never got down to Hurlburt Field but in 1962 I was assigned to SATSA (Signal Aviation Test and Support Activity) at Cairns Field, Fort Rucker, Alabama. I was involved in acptenance testing of the Army's new UHF set the AN/ARC-51BX built by Collins which replaced the AN/ARC-55 and AN/ARC-27.
Yeah, the ARC-51 is old stuff now but back then it was really Hot Stuff.

Gawd......that was almost 40 years ago.

Take care guys. :)

Eglin Aux. 9?

You all must be mistaken....I'm sure no such
place exists.
