I just found out that Pam Tillis is a liberal gun grabber-Gore-ette!

Dog- gone-it! I can take Fonda better than that! At least she never pretended to be on my side of anything!

The username Pave Pilot with an occupation of test pilot, located in the FL Panhandle, almost guarantees that Pave Pilot is a Pave Low IIIe pilot. Probably involved in test flights for avionics upgrades. Who knows.

Hurlburt Field is the home of the USAF Special Operations Command, with which I became somewhat familiar in the 1975 to 1997 timeframe. :)

Santana, I know what you mean. They don't make country like they used to. Thankfully I've got everything Hank Sr. ever did on those new fangled CD's. :D And jus' when I had completed my eight track collection. :(

Shania Twain is about as country as Madison Avenue. I'm sorry to hear that about Pam Tillis though. On the bright side, the gungrabbers seem to be outnumbered by the guntoters in Nashville. Aaron Tippon owns a gunshop. One of the Mandrell sisters has either a skeet or a trap shoot every year. I don't remember which one. The new group Montgomery-Gentry told a story about trading a gun for a song. I think it was to Randy Travis. Tracy Bird hosts TNN Outdoors. I think the only songs I've heard that were anti were by Martina McBride, and the 12 year old kid whose fame will last only until he hits puberty, and his voice changes.

Don't mention "cover" around these guys. Too many retired (and active) US Army and Marine grunts and LEOs. They will either duck (go for cover) or start blazing away for you to make your brake (give covering fire). Then there is Dennis the High Lord Administrator, who will try to collect a cover charge from new guys. :)

As far as Pam Tillis being anti-gun - I'm speechless! I'll bet Mel is turning in his gra-gra-gra where they buried him!

It's a heck of a note when country music folks go anti-gun.

By the way, Eric, I believe all the Mandrells are on our side. And the one you're thinking of is probably Irlene Mandrell. Heck of a family! ;)
