Are you a Radical under this profile?

I guess me and Killer45auto are real radical. We usually have 3 or 4 guns in the truck, with ammo to spare. 2 or 3 Bibles. 2nd Admendment primer. Usually several gun rags. Normally listening to Neal Boortz or rush Limbaugh on the radio. And a NRA sticker on the back window. Rad man.

Uh, Oh!

What does this mean???

Bible - often

Ammunition - How in the world would I ever be able to find all of the loose rounds that have spilled in the truck. Most are contained in glove box, but there are typically misc. boxes behind th seat or in a shooting bag on th floor

Stickers - GOA and NRA on truck topper

Literature - Shotgun news and gunlist usually with an assortment of others and related books

Weapons - often one on person and / or under seat, in glove box, under coat on seat etc... (legally!!). If a range day, sometimes more in back of truck...

Only been pulled over twice in this state (NC), for minor traffic violations, both times cop was cool. Once an old guy, once one that had to be fresh out of the academy. Under cc law I told them, politely, and with my hands on the wheel so they would feel safe and at ease where loaded ones were. Each asked a few questions - typically harmless stuff like "been drinking tonight?". Was 2:00 am, but I don't drink a lick these days, officer seemed to buy it. Neither even asked to search or see weapons. Wished them a great day and was shortly on my way. Maybe I just look (am) like harmless, law abiding citizen???

All in all, I've had good experiences with the Lawdogs - even when I lived in the peoples republic of Illinois..... Hope I never get a taste of a bad one.

In fact the boys at the sherrif's office will give you an earfull about "that stupid son of a bitch runnin the show in Washington"...

We were told at In-service Traing that we can only ask for consent to search Two Times. After the second time even if you say YES, it is illegal to search, and if you find anything that it is out the window.

I'll see if I can find a copy of it.

Yeah a couple people guessed it...
"Jawbone" had the Biblical meaning - refering to the Jaw Bone of an Ass or in other words, a Lethal Weapon in the hands of someone able to use it.
And it was admiting the fact that I'm a smartass...
Thanks for the emails guessing what that meant.

deanf, The Daily Oklahoman. It was based on a memo that was passed around to the LEO's here in OKC. I honestly do have 2 NRA stickers on my truck and they never bother me or even give me a second look so I take it that (at least the ones I've seen) they didn't pay too much attention to it.

An NRA sticker in the rear window, and a "Sportsment for Dole/Kemp" sticker on the tailgate. The Dole/Kemp is there to make people feel guilty about how they voted four years ago.

When I'm travelling on my cycle, I _always_
have a revolver packed in my bag (unloaded, of course). Legal transport in every state, but it's caused me to be "detained" a couple of times. One Blue Ridge Parkway ranger held me for an hour, spreading the contents of my bag onto the road and threatening to jail me.
"Seems like you bikers always carry guns," he
said. Gee, seems like every cop I see is carrying a gun.

I must be in trouble then. I have:
1. NRA Sticker
2. GOA Sticker
3. Range Bag with targets and staple gun
4. Veterans of Foreign Wars Sticker
5. Ranger Sticker
