Guys, Guys, GUYS!!!
It would seem that paranoia has begun to run rampant and some people are seeing "goblins" (to quote Jeff Cooper) behind every tree or controversial post in this forum.
Now, I have no idea if polymerange is a plant or not, nor do I think anyone else here really knows. Since none of us can really know such a thing without other evidence, the most reasonable course of action is not to attack him but to address the issue in a reasonable manner, commenting upon the actions of the people in question and what we may individually feel his best response was.
I do agree that the behavior presented in this post strains the imagination and I wish I could say that there is no way someone would do any of these things. In a way it would be nice to believe that no one who has access to a firearm would behave in such a manner and that no range owner would ever tolerate such behavior in a public range.
Looking at other responses it seems that several, if not many of us, have had some bad, or near-bad experiences at ranges. The truth is that there are some people out there who have either a lack or training, some really bad behavior, or some down-right criminal tendencies!
I am not sure how I would have reacted to such a situation, but I think I would have tried to get out of her line of fire, then either have the range owner call police or I would have. I WOULD have charged her. No ifs's, and's, or but's.
If I am wrong and he does confess to being an HCI plant,then I would offer apologies to those who guessed correctly. But until then I will suggest that you ponder the following saying (original author unknown, and with apologies to both Sigmund Freud and WJC);
"Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

(and a whole bunch of other abbreviations I could, but won't, use)
