It is my primary CCW gun. Any thoughts?

Yup.
Go for it. I have night sights on my Glocks, also have CTC LaserGrips on my Colt Commander (been trading 1911's around so much I went the LaserGrips so I could "move them over" to the next acquisition}.
I recently got a Ruger SP 101 with 3" barrel and was faced with no readily available night sight option for it, so I purchased CTC LaserGrips for it and WOW!
I really like what CTC has done with their product for the revolvers. The grips for the Ruger are a better combat grip shape than anything else I've tried on it, yet retain the compact size of the gun.
The contact switch is front of the grip just under the trigger guard where the middle finger (the "Hawaiian Good Luck Salute" finger) engages it with a normal firing grip. The master on/off switch is recessed into the bottom of the grip.
All in all it is one of the best thought out designs in laser sights I've seen.
Don't be swayed by the negative comments folks make about laser sights, most have not "worked" with them and have no basis for a fair evaluation.
One caution tho. Train with the regular sights on the gun and do not allow yourself to become dependent on the laser alone. If you always "index" the gun to the threat you will never have to "hunt" for the laser in dim light. With proper "indexing" you will always find the sights or find the laser dot out in front of the gun. Always let the laser become secondary to pointing or "indexing" the gun to the target.
You will not regret getting the CTC product for your revolver.
