Are the bump fire stocks practical?

I wonder how many who bash they have actually shot one? Ive had at least 20 people try mine and have yet to see anyone come away without a big smile plastered on there face.

I ran ammo through one weekend before last, and is was fun to be sure. I really didn't find it to be too terribly difficult to have decent control during rapid fire strings. I think the thing to do is to have a Slidefire dedicated lower you can pop on when you want. Of course you could just leave it, but I found a more traditional AR setup to be a bit easier to hit with when attempting more precise single shots.
