Are Scandium frame S&W snubs made any better than the regular ones?

I think the problem with the FBI load in a scandium Smith wasn't breaking the gun but bullets jumping crimp and tieing up the revolver. My 342 has a warning on it to use jacketed bullets only but does fine with my mild 130 grain reloads. The heavier 158 grain +ps might not work as well with the extra recoil when it comes to jumping crimp.
