Are newer 700's built better?

I am pleased so far! That old 700 shot a couple of 2'' groups at a hundred off bipod. I take that from a picnic table in the backyard.
 
old roper, do you think the long Winchester 70 receiver's stiffer than the long Remington 700 one? It's OK to think that; thousands do.
 
Bart B, I'm not the one that bet you and you never took that bet. You sure never took his other bet and you got to name the odds.

old roper, Gale M. wouldn't agree to either realistic and accurate way of measuring receiver stiffness. Few people know the real reason McMillan's Remington's outshot the Winchester's accuracy tests. I'll not go there at this time.

And you aren't answering my question. I'm out of this issue until you do.
