AR15.COM down?

I recieved this e-mail approximately 2100 Hours Central Time.

Dear AK-47.net Board Members

We are currently in the process of updating the site and expanding our facilities. We have been growing rapidly (over 3000 members) and are in dire need of updating the site. We are going to be adding new banner advertising agencies and creating new revenue solutions that members can participate in. We ask that you support our banner ads by clicking on them, as it pays for the site and bandwidth we use. We currently use 2-3 gigs of bandwidth per day and are charged $7.00 per gig, so you can imagine our bill gets expensive. We would also like to extend a welcome to all of the new AR15.com members that have that have taken up residence while their site is being repaired.

Sincerely
Webmaster

Anybody else having trouble getting onto GlockTalk also- besides AR15.Com, Weapons. Forum, ect... . If i didn't already believe in Government conspiracies I might start right now thinking about it.

Ed Avila runs AR15.com & weaponsforum.com on the same server

if one is toast the other is prolly gone too

the ar maillist that Ed manages is still online...

If TFL goes down due to enemy action
and NICS stays down...

I just got an email response from Ed Avila, Sr. His son, Ed Avila, Jr. owns and operates the site. He said the site will be fixed as soon as possible, and it is not going to be closed. Nothing more to add, except be patient. AR15.COM will be back up soon.
