Anyone used AIMSURPLUS??

I agree that prices go up when demand is greater than supply but there definitely was price gouging. Some vendors like Cheaper Than Dirt were charging prices way out of line with the demand and their competition. I even saw one vendor at a gun show with South African .308 battle packs for $140 when AIM had them in stock at the same time for $70. His rationalization was "you can't get this ammo anymore".

+1 cheaperthandirt really put it to us on ammo prices, and they nail you with high shipping rates. I'll never buy from them again, period.

AimSurplus is first rate

Going by that logic Best Buy is price gouging 365 days a year because their prices on many items are often way out of line with the demand and their competition.

What about the guy who buys up 20 generators for $500 and drives them to a disaster area and sells them for $2000 each? Are they "price gouging" or are they increasing supply of a scarce good and ensuring that those generators go to those who need them the most and not those who happened to get to him first?

Different businesses price their goods differently. If you don't like the price go elsewhere, that is what I did. If nobody else is available then perhaps that means the product is scarce at that place and time or you should consider starting a business to sell that product.

+1 for Aim from me too.

Good service. Got Mosins, their CZ-82 pistols, tons of ammo, got some Magpul XTM rail panels too, free shipping. They have free shipping on Magpul Angled foregrips also, got two of those too. Ships fast.

I've only placed one order with them (so far) for some .303 ammo and have no complaints. I'm trying to not buy a mosin from them but may weaken and get one since they are such a deal.

Might want to get one. Those cheap M44s have gone away; they're now listing for $190-ish. Sooner or later, the cheap M91/30s will be $200+ and everyone who wanted one when they were sub-$100 will be booting themselves in the behind.

The only bad thing about AIM surplus is you have to wait in utter anticipation for four days to get all the fun stuff you order :D

Bought some AK mags and a recoil buffer from them, will definitely buy again.

If you don't believe there is price gouging from a sellers point of view, fine. I won't believe it when I'm the one paying a price way out of line with competition or demand and yes Best Buy is price gouging and has had greedy unethical business practices for a long time. By the way, the state I live in recognizes price gouging exists and made it illegal in a disaster area.

You still missed the whole point of my first post that being AIM is a ethical company who treats their customers fairly. Enough of the thread hijacking ok.
