Besides looking like 40 miles of bad road, she was getting a little upset with Katie the hard hitting journalists` questions about bodyguards and double standards. As surprised as I was at Katie`s follow up questions, she backed off so as not to upset the "concerned" mother. Rosie was very close to blowing her top on live TV. All she needed was a little push. Too bad.
 
I don't think I could handle whale watching so early in the morning. :D

I was also surprised at the type and tone of the questions Katie was asking Queen Rosie. I had expected her, or the Today Show, to go easy. Rosie was getting somewhat paranoid towards the end on the interview. Such as her comments that the search by the police of her kid's bodyguard (on school property) was politically motivated.

Too bad Katie didn't push a little harder with the questioning. We would have been treated to a real "Kaboom."
 
i predict Rosie will host fewer and fewer award shows.

I was over on Glock Talk a couple of days ago and one fellow said his sister in law is a flight attendant for Continental. She has had to deal with O'Donut several times. It seems that while O'Donut rides in first Class, her kids and nanny have to ride in coach. It's easy to see an example of her "yes for me, no for you", attitude in this.
The woman is disgusting and quite possibly nuts.

I think it is a blessing that she is one of their spokespeople.

I hope she has a long, illustrious career fighting on behalf of the anti-self defense movement. I suspect Rosie O has converted thousands to our cause already.

Almost makes me want to write an encouraging letter to her in this time of woe ... but, not quite. ;)

There is a possibility that Ms O'Donnel will meet the same fate as Tycho Brahe and king Farouk. They both died amidst deadly methane gas explosions. Moral, don't belch with candles on the table.

And don't sit too close to Rosie unless she is wearing Forest Service approved spark arrestor.

Fatasgungrabber is feeling the effects of actually having to explain why she feels she needs a gun, but nobody else does.

The same thing happened when Sen. Diane Fienstien applyed for her consealed carry permit because of "death threats" which I don't think ever existed........well.....no, I won't go there, I will not be draged down to her level....well, maybe a little :D

With all due respect to Mr. Heston, celebrity itself does not bestow validity. Why should anyone care what a celebrity thinks? Are they funny? great. Are they good actors? spectacular. But what has that to do with public policy, politics or shaping the future of the world. The requirements for celebrity do not go hand in hand with wisdom or intelligence. A celebrity spokesperson has farther to go to win my respect than the average joe.

Rosie, spare me.

I didn't see the interview, but Entertianment Tonight did a brief story about Rosie being called a hypocrite. The cow was blabbering about the NRA and gun nuts could make all the threats they want, she wasn't gonna change. 'Scuse me? Threats? I wasn't aware that the NRA was in the business of threatening people. And I don't know a single "gun nut" who would waste a perfectly good bullet on someone that stupid. To fat and stupid you can add paranoid.

I suspect if Rosie flew coach, she'd still have to pay for two seats. She can't possibly fit in a coach seat without causing the passenger next to her to complain, "Help! Flight Attendant! I can't breathe!" As for the kid, he'll fit in a coach set and feel like it's First Class.
 
Do we know, for a fact, that she has indeed received all these death threats? Do we have anything other than her word, which (to me) lacks all credibility?
How do we know these aren't the delusions of a paranoid schizophrenic, blazing on a sugar high....hey, it worked in San Francisco after the Moscone/Milk murders (which also was the reason Feinstein used to get her CCW)

It seemed like pretty credible information to me. A Continental flight attendant who has delt with O'Donut several times seems like a good eye witness. My mother in law knew someone who went to be in the audience for O'Donut's talk show, something went a little wrong and they had to stop the tape due to the foul-mouthed O'Donut.
She's pure trash. An old Kentucky saying comes to mind: "She is just eat up with the dumb-ass". Fits.

DC, in my opinion, you nailed it. Where is any proof of "death threats" to poor Rosie? The FBI would be investigating that, so where's the proof?

I think she's as full of gas about that, as she is about everything else. J.B.

Many in the public eye receive threats of all kinds, from simple spitting to death.

It's also common that the odds of these threats becoming reality are a rarity. The person doing the threatening is satisfied with the mere bluster of their act.

The famous have an edge on the unfamous in that they are threatened before the fact. As for the unfamous, such as those Wendy's employees in New York, the lack of prior announcement is far more deadly.
