That is exactly where I saw the tester, Dixie Gun Works. They are about 45min away from me. That is where I caught the black powder bug.
A chronograph would have a lot more uses since I could also test my smokeless reloads.
Over a couple years I've heard others say their homemade was (almost )as powerful as Swiss or Gorex. One or two have claimed theirs equal too. I have never witnessed anyone's homemade that was actually more powerful than Swiss or Gorex brands.
