Anyone Have A .25ACP?

Jetfire here too. Excellent little gun. FMJ for functioning and NEVER underestimate this caliber.
The Sacramento "Thrill Killer" used a Beretta Jetfire and killed (I think) 6 people before he was caught. All dead on the spot. No wounded. Went into convenience stores and shot clerks and customers. Bad news.

Victor, I bought my Seecamp NIB from Sile Distributors about 1984 for $99. Shortly after that they climbed to $125-$140.

Watch6, mine work fine with ball ammo and a good mag. They will only work with ball and will fail with bent feed lips on the mags or if you left the mag loaded forever the mag spring will get weak. Also be sure that the recoil spring in in good shape and that the slide rails are lubed. The pistol bites like crazy so make sure your hand is not interferring with slide travel.

Branrot,
I also have a PSP25. Mine has never had the slightest problem. I've had it about ten years now and its never failed to fire at all. I mostly shoot Blaser ball ammo for practice, my carry load is the Winchester XP. BTW: the little ball stuck in the hollow point of that ammo is to insure reliable feeding, not for expansion.

I have a Jetfire 950 in 25 acp w/ 4" bbl installed, and a Model 21 in 22 lr w/ 4" bbl installed. Both were bought and had the 4 inch outside threaded barrels installed prior to the 94 ban.

The idea behind the 4" bbl 25 was to increase the velocity of the ammo (1) - PPS MSC copper cookie cutter 29 grain hp's; (2) Glaser blues; or (3) CCI 35 grain gdhp's for straight penetration of the skull at angles compared to numerous citations of ball ammo following the outside curvature of the skull.

A similar effect with truncated cone 22 slugs was hoped for.

These are tertiary or quadruciary level back ups. They fit into a manicure set in the bottom of a shaving kit with 3 or 4 spare mags and a 4" liner lock knife and 2 50 round boxes of spare ammo just because it fits. Or in a paperback size testament cover in the suitcase. Or a diabetic glucose testing machine case.

Like the man said, they're nice to have around when you don't have a gun.

Jeff OTMG - Thank you for your info. I have only tried ball ammo and three mags (two are new aftermarket mags) in my problem "Baby". The recoil spring looks ok. Do you have any idea where I could get a new spring? Wolf does not list any for this pistol. Also, are you using Browning mags or have you found others that will work? One of my mags is the original Browning. I am sure that it was loaded for lengthy periods of time. The spring may be weak. The other two are new. I ordered them from "Forrest Co." One is a MecGar, the other something else that I don't recall the brand. I don't know why they didn't send me two that were alike. Any further info will be appreciated.

G50AE was that the rare Glock in .25 ACP? We all know how prone to KB they are. ;)

Watch6, examine the feed lips of your factory mag. If they are okay, take the spring out of the MecGar and put it in the Browning body. I have only use Browning mags in my gun. Be sure to look at the other issues I mentioned also. With as many of those little things as there are I am surprised Wolff does no make a spring. Go to Browning or try Brownell's.

You guys went right over that, but you probably should pay attention. A .25 ACP? You must be kidding! Hell, you probably couldn't commit suicide with one!

Seems like a real good way to piss off a BG!
