Anyone else like a little color on their semi-auto pistol?

I just picked up a P229 Extreme yesterday, I am liking the pseudo-laminate look of the Hogue G10 grips that it came with. I don't have pictures of it yet.. they are on the large side, which actually fits my hand very well, it's a great shooter!

I like bright green and bright orange. I always have, and I think these guns look awesome. I don't now if I will ever be able to do something like this to mine, but I would like to. The only downside for me is that the zombie apocalypse folks have co-opted these colors, which makes me look like a zombie nut, because my phone case (bright green), my favorite t-shirt (bright orange) and many other items I own in these shades make me blend in with them, though I will never figure out what these colors have to do with zombies

That's a sweet lookin G20 there agt--I thought about getting an all-chrome slide but decided against it thinking I might have troubles with glare--my eyes have trouble enough with seeing the irons as is.

Thanks. Yeah, the NP3, while eye-catching and sort of a brushed goldish-grey (depending on the lighting), doesn't reflect glare as much as polished hard-chrome would.

Below is a pic of my G29 with the same NP3 finish as the G20 (i.e., to the barrel, slide & internals) - except this pic was taken on a somewhat overcast afternoon.

You can see how the duller light mutes the slide's NP3 finish and makes it look more matte grey than gold(ish).
