Anyone else Impressed by CZ?

I have a CZ 452 military training rifle.

It's a fantastic shooter and a fantastic looker, and the iron sights are the best I've ever seen on a stock rimfire rifle.

My wife shot it once, and then forbade me from ever selling it, if that tells you anything.

"On the other hand, Anschütz rifles are rarely compared with the CZ"

They lose on price. It appears that the cheaper Anschutz sporters are no longer imported into the U.S. They make kid's guns too - entry-level stuff.

I like my 452 American in .22 WMR, but I don't confuse it with my Cooper rimfire either. Of course one is a $500 gun I got used for $280 and the other is a $2500 gun that I bought new years ago for a whole lot less.

We have several CZ rifles here. My son loves his 452 Scout .22, and my wife is very fond of her 512, the new semi auto 22 lr. I am very happy with my 527M carbine in 7.62x39mm, great fun rifle!

Yeah, you might say we like CZ here. Have a few of the pistols, too.:D

No doubt, but I have only 54 actions and I marvel at them, particularly the older ones.
The CZ rifles are definitely a (better) alternative to the Anschütz 64 sporters or Flobert actions that were made for the German mail order business until 1972.

But the better Anschütz 54 sporters aren't loosing any value. And I have definitely not lost any money on mine. Maybe on my scopes and mounts - but not on my sporters!
