Anyone Else "Done" With Loading Their Guns?

Mac,
You are entirely welcome.

The resale point is a good one, OB.
A clean, never-loaded firearm will tend to retain re-sale value far above what the same gun would bring if loaded.

Loading just seems to bring out that primal urge to SHOOT something!
Once you give in, a fired gun is no longer an NIB unfired gun, and value tanks.

I noticed this issue today when I loaded my M38 Mosin and fired it at the indoor range.

It's REALLY noisy when you put bullets inside!! :D

But if it is you life, or one around you in jeopardy, in a combat situation you could use your unloaded gun (if it is heavy enough) to throw it at you assailant, and it would not hurt his ears from a blast. The cat and fish would not be spooked, and there would be no powder smell after you get beaten to death.

Bourbon's always a good thing to get loaded with.

I'll drink to that.:D

Over on rimfirecentral they went through a series of "Snob" threads. Like a pizza snob, a bacon snob, a bourbon snob. Finally the stupidity got old and those type of threads died. Hopefully they will be short lived here.
