anybody hunt crow???

i plan on hunting one and eating it. i just want to kill ONE, and eat it. for the curiosity of what it might taste like. i was thinking maybe hunting them and taking the breast meat, cooking it and making it into dog food. at least the animals death provided food for another. i can't just shoot something and let it lay. there are exceptions but for now, i dont hunt anything i wont eat. unfortunatly i have not found my self a hunting area that is far enough away from human dumpsters and trash that i'd consider eating/shooting it. who knows, it may taste really good but the stereotype is that it HAS to taste terrible

fun times!!

Get a owl decoy, crow decoys and a electronic game caller and hold on tight!!The best gun is any auto 12ga.with cheap rounds works great. Can you eat them yes.Would I eat one ??Probley not.....

Have eaten crow both literally and figuratively and I don't reccommend either.
We shot them for fun and to make corn farmers happy (the farmers tended to remember you during deer season and let you hunt the good stuff) We tried cooking a couple up just because of the saying. Tasted like stringy garbage. Got laughed at by just about everyone who found out we tried it.

Used the crow caller and decoys a few times, man what a blast to shoot them out of the sky. I would never eat one though. They are nasty scavengers that eat road kill and other nasty things. Even though we will never hurt the population, I can't believe they have a season on them that protects them where I live.

Crow hunting is regulated by the DFG here in California. There is a regular season and bag limit for them. Federal regulations also apply because of a treaty with Mexico....

Hunt them... yes.
I killed them as a kid with a pellet rifle.

Own a crow call... yes.
I use the crow call to locate the old guy that works in my area of the store.
He only dislikes it when I use it.

Eat crow... yes. Not in the physical sense.
I have crow waiting for me the next time ATTT sees me.
I was stupid the other day and need to be reminded often.
I hope he has some gravy warm and ready.
