Anybody else notice Gore is...

It was quite clear from watching the debate that Al Gore is absolutely, positively responsible for every good thing that has ever happened on the planet since his birth. If someone else did it, he was at least by their side. Stunningly infantile and pathological.

Therefore, I must vote for Al as he will take care of me and my family forever and ever. Pathetic.

Just got back from vote.com. Of the 44,000+ responses, Bush recieved 88% of the votes for winning the first debate.

It appears that the media can't tell the truth.

Does anyone else see a resemblance between Klinton-Gore's America and the former Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republic? Media control... penalties for opinions, (see John Rocker), ... everyone is entitled to everything...

Or is it just me?

Gore made my blood run cold.
I can't believe the crap he was spewing! He was taking credit for everything! Even when Bush talked about going to Texas for fire and flood relief - Gore took credit for it because HE WENT TOO and went with some FEMA guy... Same guy that Bush talked about working with.
When Gore said that - you could see Bush thinking "WTF?" I suspect that Gore was not actually there. Hmmm - why would Bush have a look like that? It was very telling.

It seemed Gore was always able to rebuttle as much as he wanted and Bush was always limited.

All that aside - it was very clear to me that Bush stomped a mudhole into Gore. Gore wanting to do all of our thinking for us and Bush giving power back to the people.
Thats a huge difference in approach to government. I hope the people can see that.

I was hoping that Bush would sneak in a comment about how Gore couldn't keep his mouth shut when it wasn't his turn to talk.

If the man can't follow simple debate rules and show his advesary respect, then how can we expect his to follow the rule of the law and respect the American public?

It would have been a phenomenal statement.
