Any SKS fans here?

I hae a Romo as well, it's not accurate, maybe minute of pieplate, but it's a great spray and pray, and the ammo is CHEAP...

Also, I have an "EVIL" black stock on it, and I love to show it because the anti's all are like "oooohhh, black gun, evil" and they see my walnut stock M1A and think "oh, wood, not so scary" even though the 7.62x39 is smaller than the 7.62x51... But what do anti's know, don't confuse them with facts...

The other think about SKS's, if I take guns out to shoot, and I'm too tired to clean them, the one that DOESN'T get cleaned is the SKS. It will shoot and shoot and shoot regardless how dirty, I don't recommend it, but I'm just saying, it requires very little, digest anything, and maintainance is very low..

I love mine! ... from my cold dead hands..

Got a Russian Tula '53 for the pricey sum of $205.00. Beautiful laminated stock, very nice "arsenal refurbished" black/bluing finish, eats $1.98 Wolf ammo for breakfast, and I'll be damned if I didn't scare my shootin' buddy with his H-Bar in an accuracy contest.
These rifles are fantastic! Still Grinin'...J. Parker

I love my Norinco SKS! I bought the last one in the barrel...everyone else had already picked through the good ones...I paid $89.00 for it...I don't know how many years ago it was...the stock was a mess...sanded it down and spray painted it with matte black wood paint...it looks pretty cool in black...I would have rather kept the wood look but like I said...it was the runt of the litter...and now in California it's just about impossible to get any good deals anymore (Makarov) so i'm happy to have gotten one at all...I did put on the (evil?) spike bayonett that I picked up at a gun show...it just seemed naked without it...so I guess i'll take my chances...if a LEO passes by the local shooting range and can tell it's chinese instead of russian...then I guess I deserve the trouble! does that stupid law make any sense? you buy a russian SKS and get a big fat blade on it...no problems...but put a spike on a chinese SKS...FELONY! anyway...low cost of ammo...fun as heck to shoot...how can you go wrong?
Tony.

Pointblank2K, how dare you! Don't you know how many thousand of innocent people were attacked with bayonets this year alone??? ;)

You are 100% right, that's one of the most stupid laws I've ever heard of. Sadly, I can't even add a bayonet to my sks. The importer ground off the bayonet lug. I guess just to make sure no evil bayonet wielding manman attach one and go on a crime spree!
